THE PROCESS

A no-charge evaluation is the starting point. At that visit, Dr. Cohen will examine your mouth and listen to your con cerns and then determine if you are a candidate for Cohen Clear SmilesTM. Time is reserved for you in which a 3 dimensional image of your teeth, digital pictures and digital radiographs will be performed. From this in formation a custom treatment plan is developed by Dr. Cohen and he generates mod els and retainers that show each tooth movement. Each clear retainer will gently move your teeth to the desired position. You will visit the office every 6-8 weeks to have your progress checked and get your new set of retainers.

Our Financial Coordinator will guide you through the financial aspect of your treatment. We will work with you to develop a plan that works within your budget. For those of you with insurance, we will ask you some questions when you call for your consultation. We will then research your insurance coverage, so we will be able to let you know what your benefits will cover at your consultation appointment.

MEET OUR DOCTOR

Dr. Steven Cohen is one of Philadelphia and South Jersey’s premier orthodontists. He combines 20 years of teaching, 25 plus years of clinical practice into one of the areas most unique orthodontic experiences to create a Cohenclear smile™

• Aspired to become an orthodontist after his own orthodontic treatment at twelve years old.

• Graduated from Rutgers University (1984-1988)

• University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey graduate (1988-1992)—class president for 3 years.

• Two year post-doctoral orthodontic program Temple University’s School of Dentistry-receiving his orthodontic certificate and master’s degree in dentistry.

• Teaching faculty Albert Einstein Medical Center Department of Dental Medicine-Philadelphia

• Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontists

• Residing in New Jersey, he and his wife have been married for over 25 years and have two children.

• He has developed an Invisalign curriculum at Albert Einstein Medical Center Department of Dental Medicine-Philadelphia and has become an expert in the management of minor and complex teen and adult Invisalign patients.
